Not having a vocals in your music, believe it or not, is seen as a choice that will doom (no pun intended) any band in South Africa. Yet, Kidofdoom have managed to make this aspect of their music the thing that sets them a part from everyone else. They have grown into one of the most popular avant-garde groups this country has ever seen. Influenced by the likes of M82, Pink Floyd and Air, Kidofdoom have created their own genre with their epic sound scapes called "deep space champion pop".

DJ, VJ, animator, ass-shaker, synth-smasher, singer, screamer, designer, illustrator and promoter, Sassquatch is one of Jozi's busiest bodies. He is also the founder of "The Sovereign Academy Party" which ignited the dance-punk scene in South Africa. His visuals were selected for the SENSE Summer Festival in London and can be seen on his artist profile along with his designs.

Unit.R is a four piece band who combine elements of electro, rock, punk and folk into a live set that goes beyond the traditional. Synthesizers and sequencers combined with live bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums and vocals to produce a fresh sound whilst aimed squarely at the dance floor.

Yesterday's Pupil

Yesterday's Pupil is a multi instrumentalist artist who uses percussion, production, vocals and guitar in an eclectic mix of electronica based beats, progressive rock and 80's synth pop. He has a unique and brave style of performing which has been described as "the next logical step" in that he satisfies both the traditional band typed performance with the much more recent set ups of solo or duo electro bands such as Daft Punk or Amon Tobin.
